Epson EB-8 Series (EB-85H/825H/826WH) - The ultra-practical business projector line

The EB-8 series is designed for practicality, with its wide array of business-friendly features such as cable-free projections (from wirelessly networked computers using optional wireless adapters), network control, and projection of JPG image files stored in flash drives or PCs using their USB ports. It also has lower power consumption costs, thanks to Epson’s proprietary E-TORL lamp, which is 20% more energy efficient and has an industry leading standby power consumption of only 0.4 watts.

Epson: Top Projector Maker of the DecadeFor the 10 years from 2000 to 2009, Epson achieved the top market share of 16.1% in the global projector market, over twice the volume sold by its closest ranked competitor(1). This accomplishment was confirmed with recent data released from specialist electronics research company FutureSource Consulting. The data also revealed that Epson had achieved its ninth straight year of attaining the no. 1 share ranking in the worldwide digital projector market of 20.8% for 2009.(2) Epson has held this leading position since 2001.(2)

In the Asia Pacific region (excluding Japan) for 2009, Epson’s 3LCD projectors have experienced a healthy unit sales growth of 18.4% from 2008 to 2009, despite the global recession during the period, and achieved the top market share of 13%(3).
